Undervoltage? I didn't really notice anything specific, but maybe something subtle. What did you end up doing to fix it?

Undervoltage can apparently throw the whole automatic gearbox system for a loop. My mechanic said it can cause all sorts of weird electronic gremlins. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a workshop ASAP. They'll probably recommend a transmission flush and oil replacement, but it's best to get a proper diagnosis. Don't want to risk further damage to the automatic transmission.

Took your advice and brought it to a shop. It WAS undervoltage messing with the transmission. They did a transmission flush and replaced the oil. Cost me 240€, but it's shifting smoothly now. I appreciate the help.

That sounds rough. I had almost the exact same thing happen with my GLC: implausible shifting behavior. Did you notice any undervoltage issues before this started, like dimming lights?
