Mercedes GLC diesel engine issue resolved

I'm experiencing issues with my 2016 Mercedes GLC diesel. It has around 107004 km on the clock. The check engine light is on, and the engine is running rough. It occasionally stalls when idling, and there's a jerking sensation during acceleration. Could this be a fuel delivery problem or something related to the fuel injector? I suspect it might be the fuel pressure sensor, potentially a defective cable or plug connection. Any insights would be appreciated.

I had a similar issue with my GLC check engine light and rough running. It could indeed be the pressure sensor. Has anyone checked the sensor itself, or just the connections? It's important to rule out a faulty sensor before chasing wiring issues. It does sound suspiciously like fuel system problems.

Thank you for your response. When you say 'similar issue', was it exactly the same symptoms? And if so, how was it resolved? Was it also a faulty fuel pressure sensor or something else within the fuel system?

Yes, same symptoms. It turned out to be the fuel pressure sensor. However, I recommend you take it to a workshop to confirm. A diagnostic scan will pinpoint the issue and confirm if it's the pressure sensor or perhaps something else causing similar issues.

Thank you very much for your advice! It proved to be spot on. I took it to a workshop, and after a diagnostic scan, they confirmed it was indeed the fuel pressure sensor. The cable connection was defective, just as I initially suspected. The repair cost me 95€ Appreciate your help!
