Mercedes GLC mirror heating issue

My 2016 Mercedes GLC with a diesel engine, currently at 60549 km, has stopped heating the driver and passenger side mirrors. Diagnostics show an error in the system memory. I suspect a cable or plug issue. Has anyone else had this and what fixed it? The lack of mirror temperature control affects vehicle safety.

I have a GLC too. I had a similar mirror problem once. It wasn't heating well, especially when it was cold. Could it be a fuse? Check the fuse box before assuming it's wiring.

Thanks. The fuse diagram shows no fuse just for the mirror heaters. Can you give more details on your fix? Were there other symptoms or error codes during diagnostics?

I don't remember the details now, it was a while ago. I checked the fuses but found nothing specific. A shop found a bad connection, fixed it fast, and the problem was gone. Maybe get it checked professionally.

Thanks. I checked the connectors and wiring. I found a broken wire in the driver's side door loom near the mirror. I fixed it, and the mirror heating works now. The repair cost about 95€. Thanks for your help.
