Mercedes GLE stiff steering issue

Yes, the ESP warning light is illuminated. Did sensor replacement fix the issue for you, or was it something more involved? Did it affect other systems?

Yep, that's it! It was the steering sensor throwing everything off. Get it checked ASAP, before other systems get glitchy. I'd head straight to the workshop!

Thank you for the insight. The workshop confirmed the steering angle sensor was defective, and the coding was faulty. Sensor replacement and recalibration cost 195€. The issue is now resolved.

Whoa, sounds rough! I had almost the exact same thing happen with my GLE. It felt like wrestling an alligator just to make a turn. Did any warning lights pop up on your dash?
