Undervoltage How would that affect the transmission I'm not sure if a transmission flush has ever been done Is that something I could do myself or is it best left to the professionals

Undervoltage can mess with the electronic controls of the transmission As for the transmission flush it's tricky to do yourself You need the right equipment Given the symptoms it might be best to take it to a workshop They can check the fluid condition and voltage levels

Thanks I'll get the voltage checked out and book it into a workshop for the transmission I got a transmission flush and some electrical work done for 240€ and it's shifting smoothly now It was related to undervoltage and worn out transmission oil

I had similar transmission performance issues with my Mercedes Have you checked for undervoltage That can cause implausible shifting behavior When was the last time you had a transmission flush
