Mercedes ML ABS and Traction Control Issues

My 2007 Mercedes ML with a gasoline engine is acting up. The ABS lamp is on, traction control is going crazy, and it feels like the ABS system itself is failing. The odometer seems off too. I suspect it's a speed signal fault. Any thoughts? I'm wondering if it's the ECM.

That sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my ML a while back. ABS and transmission were throwing fits. Does your dashboard light up like a Christmas tree? If so, it could be a faulty ABS control unit. Did you check that?

Yeah, the dashboard is lit up like crazy! Like I said, ABS and traction lights are on. How did you figure out it was the ABS control unit?

Well, I scanned it with a diagnostic tool and it pointed towards the ABS module. The speed sensor signals were all over the place. Honestly, with those symptoms, I'd get it checked out by a workshop. It ended up costing me around 1000€ to get it sorted.
