Where can I find the wiring diagram to trace power to the compressor? Are there common failure points I should focus on before checking the valves?

Tracing wiring can take time. Valve problems are common given the car's age. A workshop experienced with Mercedes AC diagnostics might be more efficient.

I went to a mechanic as suggested. It was a valve issue, and the repair was around 1000€ . Thanks for the help!
