They mentioned something about checking the control unit, but weren't super specific Did you end up replacing your battery, or was it something else entirely And yes, the car electronics are acting up a bit, but nothing major Just the error message in the display

Yep, control unit was the culprit in my case The undervoltage fried something inside, apparently I'd say definitely get them to investigate that thoroughly They should be able to pinpoint which control unit is causing the issue with their automotive diagnostics tools Honestly, it's probably best to just bite the bullet and take it to a decent workshop

Thanks for the info Took it to the workshop and they confirmed it was undervoltage causing the 'memory lock' The bill came to 240€, but at least it's fixed

Whoa, that sounds familiar I have an ML too, and I had something similar happen last year Fault codes popping up all over the place, and the car electronics were acting weird Did they give you any specific fault codes that point to the undervoltage It could be a number of things, from a weak battery to a dodgy control unit Any other weird symptoms besides the error message
