Mercedes ML start stop problem

My Mercedes ML 2011 hybrid has a start stop system issue The engine shuts off but doesn't restart A warning light is on and there's an error in the memory Any ideas

I have a Mercedes ML too, though I'm not sure of the year. I had a similar problem with the Eco mode. It could be the battery, I'm not sure. Does the car struggle to start sometimes?

Yes, that's exactly what I experienced. The car started fine, but the Eco mode just wouldn't work. The engine would shut off at a red light, but it wouldn't restart automatically. I think you should go to a workshop to check the battery and the hybrid system, it's probably the best thing.
