Mercedes R Klasse Headlight Washer Problem

Sounds familiar! I had a similar leak with my old Saab. The headlight washer pump had a clog and took out the main windshield washer too. Check the fuses first. If that's not it, it might be the pump's connection. They're often exposed and corrode.

I replaced the whole pump on the Saab. The clog was inside, couldn't get it out. Chasing electrical issues can be a pain. If you're not comfortable testing the relay and wiring, a workshop might be a good idea.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a shop, and you were right. The headlight washer pump connection was corroded. A new connector and some cleaning fixed it. It cost 165€, but it's resolved.
