So, is it likely just a bad connection on the pressure sensor then? Is there a way to check?

While a faulty connection is plausible, it is difficult to diagnose definitively without proper equipment. The grinding noise, the slipping, and the error codes all point to a potentially larger issue within the transmission itself. It is similar to diagnosing a heart problem with only a blood pressure reading. While the pressure reading is important, it does not tell the whole story. I suggest a professional inspection.

Understood. I took it to a workshop, and you were right. It was indeed a defective cable. Repair cost was 95€. Thanks for your help.

It sounds like you are experiencing a disruption in communication between the pressure sensor and the transmission control unit. The radiator coolant is responsible for cooling the transmission oil via the oil cooler. A faulty connection could cause the pressure readings to be incorrect, triggering the emergency mode. Think of it like a loose wire on a light switch it might flicker or not work at all.
