Mercedes SLC diesel moisture sensor fault resolved

I had a similar moisture sensor error on my SLC, though it didn't run rough. Did you check the connection yourself? Sometimes it's just a loose plug.

When you had the sensor issue, did diagnostics say it was a cable or plug? Were there other symptoms besides the error code?

Car diagnostics said the moisture sensor was faulty. I just pushed the connector in a bit more firmly, and the error went away. If that doesn't work, take it to a workshop.

It was indeed the cable connection. The workshop confirmed the electrical fault, and a 95€ repair fixed the sensor fault and rough running. Thanks for the insights.
