Mercedes Sprinter Airbag Warning After Seat Removal

Hello, I own a 2019 Mercedes Sprinter with a Diesel engine and 391,000 km on the clock. After removing the passenger seats to clean the van, I started the engine and now have an airbag warning light with an error message stating 'malfunction on left side.' I'm considering using a Carley OBD scanner to clear this error, but I'm unsure if it will work since most OBD scanners can't. Can anyone confirm if Carley can clear this specific error before I make a purchase? Thanks in advance for your help!

Before purchasing a scanner, check if the seat connectors are properly reconnected and secure. Sometimes, the airbag warning light can be triggered by a loose or disconnected connector under the seat. If the issue persists after checking the connections, it might be best to consult a professional mechanic, as airbag systems are critical for safety. Let me know how it goes or if you have further questions!
