Mercedes X Klasse Bluetooth connection issues

I had almost the exact same thing happen in my X Klasse! The infotainment system can be a bit of a pain. Electrical gremlins are the WORST. Did you try deleting the phone from the car's system and then re-pairing it? Also, what phone are you using? Sometimes that makes a difference.

Yeah, I tried deleting it and re-pairing it a bunch of times. No dice! I'm using a recent smartphone. Is there anything else it could be? Could it be something to do with the ignition system, brakes, suspension, or transmission?

Nah, doubt it's connected to those. Sounds like the same head unit issue I had. Honestly, I messed with it for ages and got nowhere. Bit the bullet and took it to the workshop. They sorted it with a software flash, said it was some kind of glitch. Cost me a small sum to fix.
