That's interesting! Yes, the error codes seem to point directly to the control unit. Did your error messages also indicate a control unit issue, and did a software reset fix the problem for you?

Yeah, the errors I was getting were definitely related to the control unit. I tried a few things myself, but in the end, I had to take it to a workshop. They did some kind of software reset and recalibration, and it sorted it right out. Honestly, it sounds like you're on the right track. Best bet is probably a workshop to check it over.

Thanks for the confirmation! I was hesitant to just throw money at it without a second opinion. Knowing someone else has had a similar issue and resolved it with a software reset makes me feel a lot better about the diagnosis. I'll book it in and hopefully, that'll be the end of it. Cheers!

Sounds rough! I've got an X Klasse too and had a similar thing happen a while back. Random electrical weirdness, and the nav system packed it in. Did the error messages seem related to the control unit at all?
