Micra fuel level sensor fault

My 2022 Nissan Micra diesel is giving me fits. The check engine light is on, and it occasionally stalls at idle. I checked the error memory and there's a fuel level sensor fault. Where do I even start? Could it just be a fuse?

I had a similar issue with my Micra. Does your fuel gauge act erratically? Like, does it jump around or show empty when you know there's fuel in the tank?

Yeah, now that you mention it, the fuel gauge has been doing some weird stuff. Erratic is the perfect word. I just didn't think they were connected. Is that definitely the level sensor then?

Sounds very familiar. Given the symptoms and the error code, it's likely the fuel level sensor. I'd recommend taking it to a workshop to get it properly diagnosed and replaced, to be honest.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed it was the fuel level sensor. Cost me 52€ for the repair, but at least it's sorted now.
