Thank you for your response. I did check the fuses, and they all seem to be in order. The blower motor is working fine; I can hear it at all speeds. You mentioned removing the dashboard panel. Is this necessary to access the air distribution flap, and how difficult is it to do? I am not very experienced with this sort of work, and I'm concerned about causing further damage.

Given that the fuses are fine and the blower motor is working, it does seem highly likely that the issue is indeed with the defrost air distribution flap. Removing the dashboard panel can be quite involved, and without prior experience, there is a risk of damaging other components or creating new problems. Considering the relatively low cost of repair (95€), it might be wise to take it to a workshop. They will have the necessary tools and expertise to diagnose and fix the issue properly, ensuring that the air distribution and ventilation system works as intended.

Thank you for your assistance. I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed that the defrost air distribution flap was indeed faulty. The cable and plug connection were defective, as suspected. The repair cost me 95€, as anticipated, and now the heating works perfectly again.

It sounds like you've done some good initial troubleshooting. The low heating output and the error code definitely point towards an issue with the air distribution flap. Given that you suspect the cable or plug connection, it might be worth checking the fuse box first. A blown fuse could cause similar symptoms. Think of it like a circuit breaker in your house tripping; sometimes it's a simple fix. Also, are you able to hear the blower motor working at different speeds? If not, that could indicate a separate issue with the blower motor resistor. Do you have any experience with removing the dashboard panel?
