Mini Clubman power window issue

I am experiencing an issue with the power windows on my 2011 Mini Clubman Diesel. The vehicle has approximately km. Regrettably, the power windows are no longer functional. Furthermore, an error is stored in the error memory. After some investigation, the likely cause appears to be a defective window regulator. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? I am trying to assess whether a DIY repair is feasible, or if a trip to the workshop is unavoidable.

Whoa, sounds frustrating! I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane, although it wasn't exactly the same. My power windows just stopped working out of the blue. Have you checked the fuses? Sometimes it's the simple things that get overlooked. If the fuses are ok, it could be the window motor itself, or even the window track being jammed. By the way, when you say "error memory", are you referring to the car's ECU (Engine Control Unit) storing a diagnostic trouble code?

Just wanted to give you an update. You were right. Took it to the workshop, and they confirmed it was indeed the window regulator. Replacement cost me around 200€. Thanks again for your help!
