Mini Clubman starting problem

I had a similar engine fault issue on my Clubman. The engine light illuminated, and I experienced an engine surge intermittently. Have you checked the engine diagnostics for any error codes?

Yes, the engine light was consistently on, and I did experience starting issues. It could be related to the engine software, but I would recommend a visit to the workshop. They will be able to diagnose the root cause.

Appreciate the information. Turns out the cable connections of the battery were not good, as suspected. All sorted now at a cost of 155€. Thanks again.
