Mini Cooper Diesel Electric Steering Column Issue

Alright, I'm officially stumped. My 2019 Mini Cooper Diesel with km on the clock has a defective electric steering column adjustment. The error memory has a fault stored, and now the steering column won't adjust at all. I suspect it's a cable or plug issue, given the symptoms. Anyone experienced something similar with their electronic steering?

Have you checked the fuses related to the electric steering system? A blown fuse could cause such an adjustment issue. Also, could you specify which error code is stored in the error memory? This might give us a clue.

I did check the fuses, all seem fine. Regarding the error code, I'll have to check again, but is it common for a simple plug issue to cause complete steering failure in terms of adjustment?
