Water ingress is interesting. Where exactly was the water getting in? I've checked the visible parts of the antenna, but I have not disassembled anything.

On the Mini Cooper, the seal around the antenna base failed, so water collected there. However, given the error code and symptoms, defective antenna is probable. You can check the antenna base, but given it's car electronics, a workshop visit is probably best.

Sounds familiar. I had similar vehicle GPS issues with my Mini Cooper Electric, although it was due to water ingress in the antenna base. Have you checked for any physical damage or obvious cable issues around the antenna?
