Mini Countryman AC Issues

Anyone else have issues with the AC in their 2013 Mini Countryman? Mine's suddenly not cooling, and the error memory shows a fault with the rear ventilation flap. Thinking it's a bad cable or plug. Thoughts?

I had a similar problem with my Mini Countryman. The air distribution was off, and the AC wasn't cooling properly. Have you run any system diagnostics to check for error codes related to the car HVAC?

Diagnostics? What exactly did you check, and where is this flap actuator located?

Yes, the error code pointed to the flap actuator. I didn't do the repair myself. I took it to a workshop. They replaced the connector, and the air distribution was back to normal. I recommend getting it checked. It might be a simple fix.

Just wanted to update. You were spot on. Took my Mini Countryman to the shop and they found a defective connection on the rear ventilation flap actuator. 95€ later and the AC is working again. Thanks!
