Mini Countryman clutch pedal switch issue

My 2022 Mini Countryman is showing some odd behavior. There is an error stored in the error memory, the gear selection display in the speedometer is not working, cruise control is inoperative, and the engine sometimes refuses to start. I suspect a faulty clutch pedal switch or a defective plug connection. Is this a known issue?
