Mini Countryman Cold Start Problem

My 2022 Mini Countryman is exhibiting poor engine running during the cold start phase. Vehicle starts poorly. Suspect a faulty cold start injector. Any experience with this issue? Is a defective injection valve the likely culprit?

Hard starting and rough idle point to fuel delivery issues. Have you tried an injector cleaning product? It's like a spring cleaning for your fuel rail. Might be worth a shot before diving into replacements.

Mileage definitely puts injector failure within the realm of possibility. Think of it like this: cleaning might clear some gunk, but a failing injector is like a leaky faucet eventually, you need to replace it. A proper injector test will confirm, but sounds like a workshop visit is in order.

Injector cleaning crossed my mind, but with that many km on the clock, could a simple cleaning really resolve a potentially defective injection valve? I'm leaning towards a more definitive injector test. What are your thoughts?

Confirmed diagnosis of faulty cold start injector. Replacement including labor and injector test came to 515€. Running smoothly now, thanks for the input.
