Mini One ABS and Traction Control Problems

Sounds familiar I had similar ABS/traction issues with mine Was also showing ABS light Have you checked the transmission speed sensor input Could be a faulty sensor messing with the whole system Acts like a domino effect

Transmission speed sensor input, eh Is that something a diagnostic tool would flag specifically, or is it more of a 'process of elimination' type situation Also, any idea if that impacts the odometer reading

Diagnostic should pick it up, but sometimes it's vague Odometer reading is affected as it relies on the same signal If the input is erratic, the dashboard will show incorrect values In my case, replacing the sensor didn't solve it, the unit itself was gone Time for a workshop visit, I'm afraid

Update Confirmed defective control unit Repair cost circa 1000€ Thanks for the insight
