Thanks for the quick reply! When you say check the wiring, what exactly should I be looking for? Is it easy to access, and where is it located? Any tips on how to diagnose a faulty connection? I'm not super experienced, but I'm willing to give it a shot before taking it in.

Yes, it was indeed the AUC sensor in my case. If you're not comfortable with electrical work, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. They can properly diagnose the wiring and the sensor itself. It’s faster than fiddling around if you don't have experience.

Just wanted to say thanks a bunch! Turns out it was exactly as you suspected – the AUC sensor. I took it to the workshop, they checked the wiring and the plug, found a loose connection. 95€ later, my air conditioning is back in action. Really appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Mini One; the blower motor wasn't working. Have you checked the BMW AUC sensor? It’s the air conditioning sensor, sometimes referred to as the HVAC sensor. A sensor fault can cause the blower to shut down. I would suggest checking the wiring to the sensor first.
