Vacuum lines were my first suspect. Gave them a good look but didn't spot anything obvious. What were the exact symptoms with your Opel and what eventually resolved it?

The Opel's symptoms were almost identical. Hesitation on acceleration, and the light kept coming on. Replacing the MAP sensor fixed it, but the root cause was a small crack in a vacuum hose I missed initially. If you can't find the leak yourself, I'd suggest a workshop visit. They'll have smoke testing equipment to pinpoint it precisely.

Turns out it was a vacuum leak as suspected, impacting the MAP sensor readings. New sensor and leak fixed, cost 235€. Thanks for your input!

Sounds familiar. I had similar engine performance issues with my old Opel after the check engine light illuminated. Turned out to be a faulty pressure sensor too. Did you check for any obvious cracks or loose connections in the vacuum lines?
