Mini One system readiness issue

I'm dealing with a system readiness issue on my 2015 Mini One. I recently used an OBD2 scanner, and now I'm getting an error stored in the error memory and an annoying message in the speedometer. Have experience with incomplete system readiness after diagnostics? Is there something specific I should be looking for before my vehicle inspection?

I had something similar on my Mini One. The check engine light was on, and the system readiness was incomplete after an OBD2 scan. Have you tried driving it for a bit? Sometimes it just needs to complete its onboard diagnostics.

Yes, I experienced the exact same thing. The drive cycle can be a pain. If it's still showing incomplete after that many kilometers, it might be worth a visit to the workshop. They might have more sophisticated diagnostic tools to force the system readiness or identify other underlying problems.

Interesting. How long did you have to drive it for? I've done about 80 kilometers since the OBD2 read, but the error message in the speedometer is still there and the system readiness check is still incomplete.

Thanks for the insight. It turns out the system readiness wasn't actually complete. I performed a proper drive cycle and that cleared it. No cost involved luckily, and I can now pass vehicle inspection.
