Mini One washer fluid issue

I did check the fluid level initially, and it seemed okay, not completely full but also not empty. Is it possible the sensor is just overly sensitive? How low was the fluid level in your Peugeot when you experienced this?

On my Peugeot, the level was surprisingly low, even though it didn't look completely empty. Those sensors can be finicky. If you've already checked and it seems okay, maybe the washer motor itself is faulty. It might be worth a trip to the workshop just to be sure. They can check the motor and the sensor.

Just wanted to update, problem solved! It was indeed the low fluid level, despite my initial skepticism. Topped it up, and the warning light disappeared. Windshield cleaning is back in action. Cost me 25€ for the washer fluid. Thanks for the advice. It really helped!

That's odd. I had a similar issue with my old Peugeot, although it was the rear window washer. Dashboard light came on, and the washer motor wouldn't pump. Have you checked the actual fluid level yourself, even if the sensor is faulty?
