Fuel rail pressure... Hmm, I haven't checked that specifically. Where is the fuel pressure regulator located, and is it something easily tested? What kind of injector test are you referring to?

The regulator on my Vauxhall was part of the fuel rail. I'm no mechanic, but I recall the garage using some diagnostic tool to check the injectors and the fuel pressure. If you're not sure, maybe a workshop visit is best? They'll diagnose it properly.

Just wanted to close the loop. Took the Paceman to the shop and they confirmed it was a faulty cold start injector. The repair cost came out to be 515€. Runs like new now, so thanks for the input!

Sounds like fuel delivery issues. Hard starting is no fun. Did you check the fuel rail pressure? Had similar cold start problems with my old Vauxhall, turned out to be a dodgy fuel pressure regulator. Any injector test done?
