Mini Paceman Cruise Control Issue

Alright, I've got a weird one. The cruise control on my 2016 Mini Paceman diesel has suddenly stopped working. I'm getting an error message in the speedometer, and of course, the cruise control is non-functional. I hooked it up to a diagnostic tool, and it's showing a 'defective cable or plug connection of the component' error. I'm suspecting the actuator, but I'm not entirely sure where to start looking. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem with the cruise control on my Paceman. It turned out to be a faulty system. Have you checked the fuses? Maybe it's just a blown fuse.

Interesting. Which fuse was it exactly? And where is the fuse box located in your car? Is it easy to access?

I don't remember which fuse it was. And I am not sure if the fuse box is in the same spot as in my car. To be honest, I just took it to a workshop. It was easier than trying to figure it out myself. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Just wanted to let you know that it was indeed a faulty actuator cable in the fuse box, like the error memory suggested. 95€ later and the cruise control on my Mini Paceman is working again. Thanks for the input!
