Mini Paceman Engine Stalling Issue

Yeah, the throttle body is connected to the air intake, so a dirty air intake will eventually affect it. It could be a DIY job, but honestly, if you're not confident, I'd suggest taking it to a workshop. With those error codes and the engine stalling, it might be more than just a simple cleaning. Could save you some headaches in the long run.

Interesting! So, when you say 'throttle body', is that something I can clean myself, or is it more of a professional job? I'm not super mechanically inclined, but I'm willing to give it a shot if it's straightforward. I'm just trying to understand if it is connected to the air valve in some way?

Just wanted to give a quick update. Took the Paceman to the workshop, and you were spot on. They said the air intake was heavily contaminated, causing the air valve to malfunction and the engine stalling issue. Cost me about 425€, but at least it's running smoothly now. Thanks for the help!

That sounds like a pain! I had something similar happen with my Mini, though it wasn't a Paceman. Check engine light, engine stalling, the whole shebang. For me, it turned out to be a dirty throttle body. It's like the car's equivalent of a clogged artery. Have you taken a look at that? Might be worth checking before you go too deep into other things.
