Mini Paceman Windshield Wipers Not Working
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Mini Paceman had non-functional windshield wipers, with error codes indicating a wiper system issue. The problem was suspected to be a bad cable or plug connection, as the rain sensor and turn signal were unaffected. A suggestion was made to check the connector for the wiper switch on the steering column for loose connections or corrosion. This advice led to the discovery of a dodgy connection, which, once cleaned, resolved the issue, restoring the wipers to working order.

Connector for the wiper switch, eh? Where exactly is that located? I'm not the most experienced with this stuff. And you're talking about the actual wiper switch on the steering column, right, not something near the wiper motor itself?

Yeah, the actual wiper switch on the steering column. On my Skoda, the connector block was a bit loose and had some corrosion. Worth a look. If that's not it, could be the wiper motor, but a bad connection is more likely, especially if you're getting error codes. Otherwise, I'd just take it to a workshop.

Dude, you nailed it! Took it to my guy, and it was exactly as you said dodgy connection. He cleaned it up, and now the windshield wipers are working again. Rain sensor is also fine, thank goodness. Cost me 95€. Big thanks for the help!

Hey, that sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my old Skoda, and it drove me nuts. The windshield wipers would just out of nowhere not work, and I was getting errors too. Have you checked the connector for the wiper switch? It could be a loose connection or corrosion. Also, have you checked the wiper motor?
