Mini Roadster climate control issues

My 2012 Mini Roadster is throwing a weird one at me. The climate control panel is completely dead. There's an error stored in the error memory, heating output is low, and the air conditioning won't switch on. I'm suspecting a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone seen this before?

Strange one. Sounds familiar though. I had a similar thing with my Mini Roadster, climate control playing up. You checked the temperature sensor already? Is the blower motor running at all?

Interesting you mention the electrical connectors. Where exactly were you having trouble with yours? Was it obvious when you looked?

Yeah, that rings a bell. I messed around with it for ages trying to diagnose it myself, but in the end, I took it to a workshop. They found a loose electrical connector. You wouldn't think something so simple could cause so much grief, would you?

Cheers for the insight. Turns out it was a dodgy electrical connector, just like you said. 95€ at the workshop and now the climate control is back in action.
