Interesting. When you had the problem, did your diagnostic tool specifically point to the water sensor, or was it more of a general electrical fault code? I'm trying to figure out if I can just replace the sensor myself or if I should take it to a workshop for more detailed troubleshooting.

Yep, the code reader flagged the moisture sensor directly. I'd still advise a visit to a workshop; they can properly check the auto electronics and pinpoint the exact problem before you start swapping parts.

Just wanted to give a final update on this. It was indeed the water sensor. The auto electronics guys ran a diagnostic, confirmed the electrical fault in the sensor's cable, and replaced the sensor. The malfunction indicator is now off, and the engine is running smoothly again. Thanks a bunch for your help!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Roadster. Check the moisture sensor and its wiring. It's a known weak point. Have you done any sensor testing to pinpoint the fault?
