Mini Roadster Door Handle Electronics Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Mini Roadster is experiencing an issue with the door handle electronics, specifically affecting the keyless access. The error memory indicates a potential wiring fault or defective plug connection in the door actuator. Suggestions include checking the wiring first, as it might be a simple fault, but ultimately, a workshop might be necessary for proper diagnosis and repair. The issue was resolved by a workshop, confirming a wiring fault in the door actuator, with the repair costing 95€.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, the error memory specifically mentions the door actuator and a possible cable or plug connection issue. Did you manage to fix the wiring fault yourself, or did you take it to a workshop? Any advice on how to best access the door wiring?

Mine was the door switch and related wiring inside the car door. I tried to fix it myself, but gave up after a while. In the end, I took it to a workshop. Considering the predicted cost, it's probably best to let them handle it. They will be able to properly diagnose the wiring fault and replace the necessary components. The electric door is worth the money.

Just wanted to update this thread. The workshop confirmed it was a wiring fault in the door actuator. The electric door now works as expected, and keyless entry is back online. The repair cost was exactly as predicted: 95€. Thanks for your input!

I had something similar happen on my Roadster. Keyless go stopped working. Does the error memory point to the door actuator? For me, it was the door switch. I'd check the wiring first before replacing anything. It could be a simple wiring fault.
