Mistra massage seat failure
Summary of the thread
The massage function in a 2022 Hyundai Mistra stopped working, with an error related to the seat detected. A possible cause could be a loose or dislodged connector beneath the seat. Checking the main connector block and inspecting for any corrosion or damage might resolve the issue. If the problem persists, visiting a workshop is recommended, especially if the vehicle is under warranty.

Thanks for the tip! When you say 'beneath the seat', are we talking about the main connector block or is there something more specific I should be looking for? Is there any way to get to the plug without disassembling the seat?

Precisely. I am referring to the primary connector block situated underneath the seat. Accessing it might require maneuvering the seat to its highest position and tilting it back slightly to gain better visibility. I would suggest consulting the service manual for detailed diagrams. While inspecting the connector, examine the pins for any signs of corrosion or damage. Ultimately, the error code suggests a defective cable or plug connection of the component, so a visit to the workshop is inevitable to verify this suspicion.

Okay, I appreciate the detailed explanation! I think I will follow your advice and take it to the workshop, as I don't want to break anything while disassembling the seat. It's probably still under warranty anyway. The repair bill was 95€.

Interesting. I own a Mistra as well, and I recall encountering a similar hiccup with the massage seat a while back. Did you check the cable and plug connections beneath the seat? In my case, it turned out to be a slightly dislodged connector. Give it a look; it might just save you a trip to the shop.
