Hey, thanks for your reply. I'm glad to hear that the damage wasn't too bad for you. That's probably true, I'll contact the dealer directly. Does anyone else have any experience with this issue?

Hey, yes, I can still remember that the repairs to my turbocharger came to around €1670, so it wasn't cheap after all. But since the workshop visit, the problem with the functional restriction of the boost pressure control has been resolved and it hasn't come back. Oh yes, I now drive a 2017 Golf GTI, in case you're interested. Although hopefully that shouldn't be the case for you.

Hi guys, thanks for your tips and experiences. That would be really ridiculous if I had to pay that much. If it really is a turbocharger defect, that would be really bitter. It probably won't help, I'll confront the dealer. Best wishes and safe driving!

Hi, I'm familiar with your problem, I had it once with my 2016 Leon. The engine behavior was similar and the check engine light also came on. Seemed really annoying at first, but turned out not to be a big problem. A software update had to be carried out in my workshop. It's best to go to the dealer, they should actually take care of it given the low mileage.
