Mobi oil pressure light and engine noise

Hi, I've got a 2022 Fiat Mobi with a gasoline engine and about 20533 km. Recently, the oil pressure warning lamp is lighting up, and I'm hearing loud mechanical noises from the engine. Oil level is fine. Could this be an oil pump issue?

Hey! I also have a Mobi, and your issue sounds familiar. When the oil pressure light came on, did you notice any oil leakage? It could also be related to the engine bearings.

Thanks for the quick response! I haven't seen any obvious oil leakage. The noises are what worry me most. Was your issue also accompanied by loud mechanical noises?

Yes, the noises were definitely there. It turned out to be a defect in the oil pump. I'd recommend getting it checked out at a workshop ASAP to avoid further damage. My repair cost about 755€, unfortunately.
