Mobilio check engine light and stalling
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Honda Mobilio diesel with 217,910 km had a check engine light on, ran rough, and sometimes stalled, with jerking during acceleration. The owner suspected a fuel pressure sensor issue or a defective cable or plug connection. Another person with a similar experience confirmed that a faulty fuel pressure sensor was the cause and recommended a workshop diagnosis. The problem was resolved by replacing the sensor and fixing a loose connection, restoring the car's smooth operation.

Could you please provide more details about the issue you experienced with your Mobilio? Did you also notice jerking when accelerating, and what was the eventual solution?

Yep, the jerking was there too. Real pain. Turned out to be a faulty fuel pressure sensor. I’d suggest getting it checked at a workshop. It’s probably the sensor itself or a dodgy connection like you mentioned. Save yourself the headache of trying to diagnose it yourself.

I took your advice and had the car diagnosed. It was indeed the fuel pressure sensor, as suspected. The repair, including a new sensor and fixing a loose connection, cost 95€. The car is now running smoothly again.

Hey, I had something similar happen to my Mobilio. Check engine light, stalling, the whole shebang. I initially thought it was the fuel pump or maybe even a clogged fuel injector. Was pulling my hair out trying to figure it out.
