Modus Aux Heater Fault

Alright, petrolheads! My 2012 Renault Modus (gasoline engine) is giving me grief. The aux heater is totally dead! Keeps throwing an error and won't fire up at all. Mileage is at 165689 km. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem with my Modus. Check the glow plugs for the auxiliary heater. Common fault.

Glow plugs, eh? Interesting. Where are those located exactly? And is it a DIY job, or am I looking at a garage visit?

Yep, glow plugs. They are a bit tricky to get to. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself unless you know what you're doing. Better to take it to a workshop.

Cheers for the heads up! Turns out it was the glow plugs. 440€ lighter, but at least I have heat now!
