Mokka Automatic Temperature Control Fault

My 2021 Vauxhall Mokka (gasoline engine, 207246 km) has an automatic temperature control issue. The AC won't engage, and there's an error stored. I suspect the interior temperature sensor. Could a defective cable or plug be the problem?

Sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my Mokka. Is the temperature reading all over the place, or just consistently wrong? I’d check the sensor connections before anything else.

When you say check the sensor connections, do you mean just the physical connections to the sensor, or also the wiring harness?

Both, really. Give the plug a wiggle and see if that changes anything; it sounds like the same issue I had. I'd suggest taking it to a workshop to get the sensor diagnosed properly; otherwise, you will keep guessing.

Thanks! I'll inspect the sensor connections and then visit a workshop for a diagnostic assessment. It turned out to be a defective cable costing me 95€.
