Mokka Engine Mount Defect

My 2015 Vauxhall Mokka diesel, 29316 km, shows a defective engine mount. Error is stored, and idling is uneven. Initial check points to a cable/plug issue. Anyone else experienced this?

Engine mount issues, eh? I had something similar on my Mokka, though I didn't initially suspect the mount itself. What kind of vibration are you getting? Is it constant, or only at certain RPMs? Have you checked the transmission mount as well? Could be mount wear too.

The vibration's most noticeable at idle, and it's pretty rough. Haven't checked the transmission mount yet, focused on the engine mount due to the error code. What were your symptoms?

Ah, rough idling… that sounds familiar. Mine was doing the same, plus a bit of a wobble when accelerating from a standstill. Turns out it was a partially detached connector on the engine mount. I'd still suggest getting it properly checked out at a workshop, just to be safe.

Right, detached connector, got it. Thanks for the info! I'll check the connector again, but likely will take it in. It ended up being the connector, plus mount wear. Repair cost was 95€.
