Thanks! I'm not great with car electrics, but I'll check the connector. Where exactly is the connector on the clutch switch? And what does 'properly seated' look like?

The clutch switch is right above the clutch pedal, near the hinge point. The connector should be firmly attached, with no visible damage to the wires. If you're not comfortable fiddling with it, I'd recommend a workshop. Could save you from causing more issues.

Thanks a lot for your help. I took it to a professional. You were spot on. It was the clutch pedal switch, and the connector had corrosion. They replaced the switch. The repair cost was 95€. Everything is working fine now!

Sounds familiar. I've got a Mokka too. Those symptoms point towards a faulty clutch switch. Have you checked the simple stuff first? Is the connector properly seated on the switch? A loose connection there can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins.
