Mokka Incorrect Vehicle Coding Error

I'm using a professional-grade scan tool. The fault code indicates a potential mismatch in the vehicle's coding, which is strange. Did your issue also point to a coding problem? Were you able to fix it yourself, or did you need a specialized workshop?

Given that the error code points to a coding issue, it sounds very similar to what I experienced. I'm not familiar with recoding, so I wasn't comfortable attempting it myself. I'd suggest taking it to a reputable workshop that specializes in Vauxhall vehicles. They'll have the diagnostic equipment and expertise to reprogram the systems correctly and prevent further damage.

Took it to a local workshop, and they confirmed incorrect vehicle coding. Reprogramming cost 360€. The error's fixed now. Thanks for the advice; your experience helped a lot.

I had something similar last year on my Mokka. The error messages were intermittent at first, then persistent. I tried clearing the codes with a basic OBD2 scanner, but they kept coming back. Do you know the specific fault code? What scan tool are you using?
