Mokka Overheating Slow Warm Up

Sounds familiar! Had a similar headache with my old Renault Megane a few years back. Overheating and slow warm-up were the exact symptoms. Yeah, turns out the map thermostat was buggered on mine, as the garage confirmed. Although it presented like a simple thermostat issue, leaving it could have caused head gasket issues later on. So, better safe than sorry, I'd say get it looked at by a proper mechanic to be sure. They can do a proper pressure test and rule out any other potential problems. It'll be worth the peace of mind!
