Thank you for your reply. You mentioned airflow sensors. Were there any specific readings or tests you performed to identify their involvement before addressing the injectors?

Regarding the airflow sensors: The readings were erratic, but not definitively out of range. The workshop confirmed that replacing them might improve performance tuning and fuel economy, but the core issue remained the compensation adjustment with the injectors. Given your symptoms, I'd suggest a thorough diagnostic check at a reputable workshop.

Thank you for the advice. Following your suggestion, I took it to a workshop. The diagnosis confirmed a defective injector, leading to the 'reset quantity drift compensation' error. The repair cost was 515€. Appreciate your insight!

That sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my 2018 Skoda Octavia; also a diesel. The symptoms you describe match what I experienced. Have you checked the airflow sensors? In my case, they contributed to the problem, but it ultimately pointed to the injectors.
