My 2021 Ford Mondeo hybrid has inconsistent temperature readings on the display, the check engine light is on, and it takes a long time to warm up. Could a restricted cooling grille or a defective fuse cause this?

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my Mondeo. Was the engine overheating? Have you checked the radiator grille for obstructions? Something simple could be blocking airflow.

Overheating hasn't been indicated, but the warm-up time is concerning. Did you see error messages or temperature fluctuations on the dashboard? Did inspecting the radiator grille solve it? Did you end up going to a workshop?

Yep, same symptoms. The dashboard showed weird temps, and the engine light was always on. I didn't find anything blocking the grille myself, so I took it straight to a workshop. They sorted it quickly. Save yourself the headache!

Based on your experiences, a workshop visit seems best. I'll schedule an appointment. It was fuse related, repair cost 52€. Thanks again for your assistance.
