Mondeo Hybrid unlocking issue
Summary of the thread
A 2022 Ford Mondeo Hybrid owner is experiencing issues with unlocking the car and starting it without the key in the ignition, accompanied by an error message. The problem is suspected to be related to a defective cable or plug connection. Another individual with a similar issue identified a faulty connection to the bumper antenna as the cause. The suggested solution is to have the connections checked at a workshop, which resolved the issue for the owner.

Yes, the error is stored. The radio seems fine, though. Does that help narrow it down? What did it end up being for you?

In my case, it turned out to be a faulty connection to the bumper antenna. I would suggest visiting a workshop to have the connections checked. It seems to be a common issue.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were right, it was a defective cable connection to the bumper antenna. They fixed it for 95€, and everything's working fine now!

I had a similar problem with my Mondeo. The symptoms sound very familiar. Is the error stored in the error memory? Does your car radio work fine?
