Mondeo Hybrid unlocking issue

I'm having a weird issue with my 2022 Ford Mondeo Hybrid. It's got about 51000 km on it. I keep getting an error message and the car is becoming increasingly difficult to unlock, and sometimes it won't start without the key in the ignition. I've read something about a possible defective cable or plug connection of the component. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I had a similar problem with my Mondeo. The symptoms sound very familiar. Is the error stored in the error memory? Does your car radio work fine?

In my case, it turned out to be a faulty connection to the bumper antenna. I would suggest visiting a workshop to have the connections checked. It seems to be a common issue.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were right, it was a defective cable connection to the bumper antenna. They fixed it for 95€, and everything's working fine now!
