Mondeo Passenger Electric Seat Issue

Hey, hoping someone can help! I've got a 2009 Ford Mondeo diesel and the passenger electric seat is playing up. I get an error stored in the error memory, and it won't adjust at all! I've checked the seat harness and the seat switch, but can't see anything obvious. Could a heavily discharged or defective battery cause this?

I had a similar problem with my Mondeo. Have you checked the power seats fuse? Also, can you hear any clicking sounds when you try to adjust the seat?

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the fuse located, and is it specific to the passenger seat? No clicking at all, just silence.

The fuse box is typically located in the glove compartment or under the hood. Refer to your owner's manual for the exact location and fuse assignment. Given the symptoms, a workshop visit is recommended for professional diagnostics; the error memory needs to be checked.

Took it to a local garage, and you were spot on about needing diagnostics. Turns out the battery was the culprit. A new battery and a reset later, the seat works perfectly now! Cost me 290€ but worth it. Thanks for your help!
